The 90's were one of the most diverse eras in popular music history. It was a time when a music fan could easily find a niche genre that suited their personality and taste. It was also a time when more open-minded music fans could discover a wide array of favorite artists and songs without having to dig too hard. From innovative alternative rock to slow jams the 90's had a little something for everybody.
Some artists from this era have lived on despite all of the changes to society, technology, and the music industry. Other artists have fallen so far into oblivion that it almost seems like their songs were played on the radio during another lifetime. The music seems so familiar, yet so far removed from where we are today.
