Cartoons get a bad rap for being silly or not intelligent, but the truth is they are the first TV most people see. In fact, in many cases, cartoons are the first kids of stories people ever experience. Whether they grew up on Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, or Spongebob Squarepants and Invader Zim, cartoons are how kids learn many lessons about the world and their place in it.
Even once they grow up, most people never grow out of cartoons.
