Ask anyone who was alive during the nineties to tell you what it was like and chances are good that they will describe it as a "strange time". It was a pretty weird time to be alive, right as the internet was starting to take hold and people began switching to using mobile phones. And of course, when people started making the switch from watching movies on VHS to watching them on DVD.

The move from VHS to DVD may not sound all that amazing today, but during the nineties, it was a revolution. No longer did anyone have to waste time rewinding a movie, we could just skip around through the film with a few clicks of the remote. And of course, the quality was infinitely better, making our movie watching experience even more amazing.

There were some amazing films that came out of the nineties, that still remain popular now, two decades later. We're talking about films like The Matrix, Titanic, Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Silence of the Lambs, which have all stood the test of time.
