Question 1

Pick a ring style

Alright let's kick things off with the first logical step. While this may not be the case for everyone, we are fairly certain at least some of the people here have already thought long and hard about the engagement ring they would someday wear. We do not need the exact specs, but instead we are just asking about the general shape everyone would prefer. We have also included an option for a ring with a stone other than a diamond, just in case anyone likes the change up!

Question 2

Pick the perfect season

Picking a wedding season is a very important choice to make. Not only will it make our decor options more clear, but it will also help us to determine what kind of venue would best suit our needs. A summer wedding would make sense for anyone who has always dreamed of partying outside during their reception, but then again, a winter wedding would be the perfect excuse to cover the place in beautiful poinsettias. Which season would everyone here choose?

Question 3

Destination wedding?

Maybe the seasonal weather in our hometown isn't too important? Maybe we have secretly been planning a getaway wedding this whole time? We have kept the option to avoid destination weddings altogether, but we want to know if anyone here would be up for the travel? What easier way to start a honeymoon, than to already be on the resort when the wedding ends? The question now is, what kind of destination would we pick if we were to head out of town for the big day?

Question 4

What does the guest book look like?

While we do know that budget can sometimes play a factor when it comes to deciding how many people we should invite, for this question, let's pretend the sky's the limit. Money is no issue for this one, but perhaps not everyone is into the idea of a huge wedding? It is fair to think some would prefer to keep it to just close family, but we know for sure others would like the idea of inviting everyone they have ever met.

Question 5

Phone policy?

Here is an interesting one. A few years ago, this probably wouldn't have been something that crossed a bride's mind. However, these days everyone feels a little differently about having guests on their phones throughout the entire event. While some couples encourage guests to snap all the photos they want, other couples have actually gone as far as collecting all phones before the ceremony. What does everyone here think about cell phones at a wedding? Are we okay with it, or not so much?

Question 6

Will kids be invited?

Ah, now this has been a big question for a long time now. Somewhere along the line, a bride came up with the idea to leave kids off of the guest list. We understand the thought. Kids can be loud and messy. That being said, not everyone feels comfortable asking friends and family to leave their kids somewhere else for the evening. This may also depend on how many kids the couple actually knows as well. What is everyone's policy on kids?

Question 7

What about dogs?

It has actually become somewhat of a trend to allow guests to bring their furry companions along with them a wedding. This one would probably depend on whether or not the couple in question has their own dogs. Many couples who do have dogs, wish for them to be part of the ceremony. What is everyone here thinking about having a crowd of pups at their wedding? Do we love the idea, or do we think it is way too risky?

Question 8

Pick a color scheme

Now this one is a rather important question. Without a color scheme, we can't really begin the decoration process. We need the color info to be able to decide upon flowers, table linens, centerpieces and so much more. We do understand that some people's ideal colors may not have been listed in the answer options, but everyone should just pick out the option they happen to like best out of the four. We promise we won't hold anyone accountable for not using the colors at their actual wedding!

Question 9

Pick a theme

Themes can make a wedding really unique, but a couple has to be really into the selected theme to be able to it off. We have seen some pretty spectacular things done with certain themes, but we have also heard comments from others about the events being tacky. For this question, we have listed 3 possible themes, but also left an option to avoid themes all together. Would anyone here be up for a Disney wedding, or perhaps a spooky Halloween one?

Question 10

Pick a dream honeymoon destination

Once again we are going to let everyone know that for the purpose of this question, budget is no issue. Imagine being able to select any possible destination for your honeymoon. The wedding stress is finally over, the guests have all gone home and it is finally time to head off on an adventure with your new hubby! The thought is a very exciting one. Which of these destinations are speaking to everyone? Does a beach in Greece sound better than an African safari?

Question 11

What kind of gifts are best?

This one can get a bit tricky. Asking friends and family for gifts can be a little awkward to say the least. While many young couples do in fact need and want the cash option, it isn't exactly a simple thing to state in the invitations. Some people find it only appropriate to ensure everyone is aware of the gift registry. Another popular option has actually been asking for charity donations instead of gifts all together. What would everyone here choose?

Question 12

Pick a meal for the engagement party

We know that not everyone chooses to have an engagement party, so we will allow this question to work for a rehearsal dinner option as well. The idea is, a light gathering before the wedding to celebrate the upcoming event. Some couples view this as a way to go over the top before the big day to let everyone know what they are in for, while others tend to see this as a casual thing where guests shouldn't feel any pressure.

Question 13

Pick a meal for the big day

This question is a big one. The food at a wedding is definitely something that will be talked about in the following weeks. For the sake of this question, we will assume that all options have been made to the same quality and deliciousness. What kind of food do we want to be serving though? If we are vegetarians ourselves, should the menu only offer non-meat options? Maybe a mix of both meat and fish would be the perfect compromise? Then again, chicken is always a safe bet, right?

Question 14

What's for dessert?

For a very long time, wedding cakes were the only way to go when the question of wedding desserts came up. The only thing that seemed to change from wedding to wedding, was the amount of tiers that actually went into the cake. However, it has become a fairly common thing for couples to switch things up for dessert these days. Not everyone has been feeling the cakes covered in heavy fondant, so we have added a few other options to the mix as well!

Question 15

Bachelorette party?

Before we get into the details of the bachelorette party, we want to know who is actually having one first. We all know that bachelor parties have always been a popular thing, but for whatever reason, the bachelorette parties have not always had the same reputation. That being said, a lot of young brides have now decided to do their bachelorettes in a big over the top way. After all, we are saying goodbye to our carefree single days forever, right?

Question 16

What kind of bachelorette would we want?

Okay, so like we said in the last question, not everyone may been keen on the idea of a bachelorette party to begin with. Not the worry! We have included an option for people who do not want to stress over one of these events. For those who are planning to have one though, what kind sounds like the most fun? A night in with the girls? A trip to the beach for some last minute tanning? Perhaps a wild night in Vegas?

Question 17

Indoor or outdoor wedding day?

Now here is where our season selection begins to play an important role. Deciding between inside or outside can be a big choice. If we are certain of the weather, it may make things easier, but who can ever really be sure of the weather, right? Some venues only allow for one or the other, so we need to pick whatever situation suits our needs best. Some couples may be so set on an outdoor wedding, that a little rain wouldn't be enough to change their minds anyway!

Question 18

Who is taking the photos?

Just how important are the photos to everyone here? We know that some people plan on having huge photo albums full of professionally taken photos, but this may not be the case for everyone. Some people actually just ask their friends to snap pics with their phones during the course of the event. Neither of these options are wrong, we just want to know what everyone is planning on for the photos! Maybe just a few disposables would do the trick?

Question 19

Pick a classic first dance song

Now this question is certainly one most people have thought about before. Every couple has a song, but that is not necessarily the one everyone would pick for the first dance. The first dance song has to be completely representative of the couple's relationship, and it wouldn't hurt if it was emotional enough to cause a few tears throughout the crowd too. We have listed 4 popular first dance options, so everyone just has to pick the one that sounds best to them!

Question 20

Pick a song for the groom's "surprise" dance

The first few times a groom and his groomsmen performed a choreographed number for the bride may have in fact been a real surprise. However, these days it is almost expected at most weddings. The ladies wind up doing so much of the planning, why not let the boys have their little surprise moment, right? Plus, if the dance is done right, it could make for a super funny memory. Which of these songs does everyone think their groom would pick?

Question 21

Pick flowers for the bouquet

Forgetting about the wedding decor for a moment, let's take a minute to discuss the all important bouquet. Even if we do not have flowers throughout the rest of the venue, the bouquet is seen by everyone. It is what we are holding while we walk down the aisle. This would be the perfect place to include your favorite type of flower. We have listed four popular options here, so everyone can select the one that sounds the prettiest to them!

Question 22

Pick a centerpiece style

The centerpieces are another important decor aspect. They can really help set the mood of the reception. While the people who have planned for a large wedding in a big open space may want to go with something tall and over the top, the people who have always envisioned something more casual may like the idea of a few lanterns and candles for ambient lighting. Feathers and gems have both also been used a lot in wedding centerpieces. Which one will we choose?

Question 23

Pick a party favor

The party favor is a great way to have a little fun. While back in the day the Jordan almonds were all the rage, these days people have started choosing unique gifts that stand out a bit more. If the wedding is going to be themed, the party favor can easily be something that fits into the theme. If we have in fact hired a photographer, we could always send guests home with a photo frame of us with our groom. Thoughts on the party favor?

Question 24

Cocktails?

The answer we pick for this question, will greatly depend on each couple themselves. If the couple throwing the event are not people who would normally drink, than we can see why cocktails would be left out of the equation. However, even in this case the couple will sometimes have champagne around for a toast. Some may feel like even if they are not drinking themselves, their guests should be given the option. How does everyone here feel about cocktails at a wedding?

Question 25

Pick a midnight snack

The midnight snack is where we can start having a little fun with the food selection. We can pretty much bank on the fact that the older guests will have left before midnight rolls around, so we do not need to have a super classy dish for this part of the evening. By midnight, only the people who have been keeping the dance floor alive are going to around. These people are going to be hungry! What should we feed them?

Question 26

Pick a wedding band style

We have already talked about the engagement ring, so now let's discuss the wedding bands. The bands are usually more understated than the engagement ring. While some still expect the band to be covered in diamonds, others may like the idea of a simple band that matches to their new partner's ring. If neither of those sound right, maybe the new trend of getting tattooed wedding bands sounds more your speed? Looking at the listed options, which would everyone pick?

Question 27

Pick a wedding dress style

Alright ladies, here we go. Even those who have never come close to planning a wedding, have probably considered a dress style at least once or twice in their lives. Some want the biggest dress out there, while others want something more comfortable. What does everyone here want?

Question 28

What will the bridesmaids wear?

We know the standard for this question would be to have all bridesmaids in the same dress, but these days that is not always what the bride decides on. This one may depend on how many bridesmaids we actually plan on having, but the question has to be answered either way. Would we want everyone in a matching dress, or would we pick a color and ask everyone to go out and find their own outfit in the selected color?

Question 29

What will the groomsmen wear?

Here is the same question, but for the men's side. The answer to this one will probably go hand in hand with the option we picked for the bridesmaids. If we have picked to have all the bridesmaids matching, we would probably want to have the groomsmen all wearing the same outfit as well. Though, if we have allowed our girls to go out and pick their own dresses, it would only fair to allow the men the same luxury, right?

Question 30

Pick some music for the reception

This question has caused many debates over the years. The selection will really come down to the kind of music the couple likes themselves. If they have perfectly picked out a wedding playlist on their iPods already, maybe they would be content with just having that play throughout the evening? However, if they happen to be huge fans of live music, it makes sense that they would want a band their for the event, right? How is everyone here feeling about reception entertainment?

Question 31

How big will the wedding parties be?

This one varies by wedding for sure. To avoid conflict, many couples will actually just pick one person for each side. This becomes an easy option when we have way too many people to pick between. Then on the other hand, if we are having a large wedding anyway, some may decide to not pick between friends at all and have all of them be part of the wedding party. It is important to keep both sides in mind for this one though!

Question 32

Pick a wedding hairstyle

Once we have settled on a dress style, the next thing to consider is the hair options. If we have gone with something backless, an up-do makes the most sense if we want to showcase that fashion choice. Then again, others may want to go with an understated hairstyle to let the dress be the main focus. It is important to keep in mind, that the hairstyle we choose has to be comfortable throughout the whole evening. Which are we going with?

Question 33

Veil?

Ah, to veil or not to veil, that is the real question. Once upon a time, all brides were depicted in long glamorous veils. The idea was to walk down the aisle, and have the groom lift the veil off the bride at the altar. It is a romantic notion to say the least. However, some brides pay a fortune for their wedding day makeup, so there is no way they are going to let a veil cover it all up.

Question 34

Pick a makeup style

Speaking of wedding day makeup, let's consider the options here for a moment. If we are women who normally wear a lot of makeup on a regular day, it makes sense that we would go above and beyond on the wedding day itself. That being said, some women like the idea of being married in their natural state. There really is no wrong answers here, since any bride with any kind of makeup is already going to be the prettiest girl at the event!

Question 35

What kind of vows would we choose?

Forgetting about all of the aesthetics for a moment, let's focus in on the ever important vows. Let's be real, the vows are actually the whole point of the wedding. Sure the flowers are pretty, the dresses are glamorous and the parties are fun, but the vows we make with our partner on the day are going to be what lasts a lifetime. Who here would go with the traditional ones, and who would prefer writing their own heartfelt vows?

Question 36

Pick something blue

The superstition behind the whole "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue" thing may not be something that every bride buys into. However, it couldn't hurt to heir on the side of caution, could it? For the sake of this quiz, which of these accessories would we allow as our "something blue"? Maybe a simple hair comb wouldn't stand out too much? Or maybe a couple blue flowers in the bouquet would stand out just the right amount?

Question 37

Pick something borrowed

Moving on to the something borrowed... This one can actually mean more than just picking out a blue accessory. Often times, brides will decide to pick something old that belonged to a family member as their "something borrowed". Agreeing to wear someone else's dress or veil may not be something that appeals to every bride, but the idea of wearing their mother's old dress may really be a nice notion for some of them. What is everyone here thinking for this one?

Question 38

Pick something new

Now here is the fun one! The "something new" can be anything. The dress can be new, the shoes, and maybe even some new piece of sparkling jewelry could work. There really is no wrong answer here, since most brides tend to have at least a couple new things on them when walking down the aisle. Which of these four things would absolutely have to be new? Can anyone here decided upon just one? We know the choice is not an easy one!

Question 39

Pick some shoes for the big day

The shoes may not be as big a decision as the dress, but they are certainly still an important choice to make. Some brides would rather not get married at all then have to walk down the aisle in sneakers, but to some the idea of comfortable shoes may mean more than anything else. We know that the high heels are the norm, but who here would rather pick a shoe option that would allows for a little more movement?

Question 40

How much time should go into the planning?

Once we get engaged, the ultimate question becomes "when will the wedding be?". Depending on the size of the wedding, the planning can actually take quite a bit of time. How much precious time is everyone here really willing to put into their wedding plans? Would a year be enough, or does that already sound like too long?

Question 41

Wedding planner?

This one goes hand in hand with the previous question. If we do not plan on investing much of our own time into the plans, maybe it would be best for a professional to take the reins? Some couples may not like the idea of paying someone to do the work they could do themselves, but others may prefer this option simply to avoid having to make stressful calls to vendors on their actual wedding day. How does everyone here feel?

Question 42

Outfit change for the reception?

One last little attire question here. We have picked our perfect dress for the ceremony. We have covered what kind of shoes we will be wearing while we walk down the aisle. Now it is time to decide if this is the outfit we will keep for the entire evening. Some brides pick out a second dress to wear for the reception. This may sound extravagant to some, but the second dress could easily be something simple and easy to dance in.

Question 43

What is the dress code for guests?

Since we have fully covered our own clothing options for the big day, now let's look at what the guests will be wearing. Setting a dress code is a great way to ensure that nobody is uncomfortable by showing up either under or over dressed. However, some couples may actually be uncomfortable with setting a dress code at all. This one will depend on the size and general vibe of each person's wedding. Which of these sounds best to everyone here?

Question 44

What if someone else shows up in white?

Yikes! As crazy as this may sound, it has happened in the past. Just in case of this kind of situation, we have to have a plan in place from the get go. Would we be bothered if a guest were to show up in a white dress? Would we boot them right then and there? Maybe it would be prudent to have a dress or two on hand just in case we want someone to change? We could also just sit them in the back if we wanted.

Question 45

Pick a fictional couple for inspiration

For this final question, let's look at a handful of inspirational TV couples. We all have our own favorites, so there is no wrong answer here. We just want to know which one of these couples represents you and your hubby best. Are you guys pranksters like Jim and Pam, or silly lovebirds like Marshall and Lily? Monica and Chandler were best friends before they started dating, but then again, Corey and Topanga grew up by each other's side. Who are we picking?
