The Pokemon franchise is still holding it down after all these years, and the fact that they continue to wow and impress its fans after all this time with its new and inventive characters is truly a testament to the love and care that has gone into the series.
Fans of this franchise are as loyal as any other in the world today, and we know that they have weighed and measured a number of fantasy elements of the story, including their own spirit Pokemon. Sure, in the real world, people have their spirit animals, and this concept has migrated over into other fandoms, including Pokemon. Knowing the spirit animal of the individual will require a deep understanding of one's self, which is easier said than done. That is, of course, unless they have a few minutes to spare.
Today, Pokemon fans are going to have some fun as they learn their spirit Pokemon after taking this quiz here!
Pick or Pass Weezing
Weezing is a Pokemon that came into the fold early on, and it is one that many trainers have had to deal with while making their way through the world. Whoever decides to train this Pokemon will need to put in a good amount of time in order for it to reach its true potential.
Pick or Pass Vileplume
As one of the coolest looking Pokemon in the history of the series, Vileplume is one Pokemon that all trainers have tried to get their hands on. Having a set of Pokemon that are well-rounded means that any trainer will be ready to take on some opposition. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Venonat
This little guy may be cute, but the people that have ever had to deal with one know exactly what they are capable of. While small in size, they pack quite the punch. They are capable of learning certain moves allowing them to go up against much larger foes and hold their own. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Vaporeon
Vaporeon is one of the many evolutions of Eevee. The type of Pokemon that a trainer prefers will certainly be the deciding factor here. People that have an affinity for water-type Pokemon will look to get their hands on one of these guys. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Ursaring
Not unlike the grizzly bear, which can be found in our own world, this Pokemon is one that has an incredible amount of strength, and it is able to use this to their advantage. While strength is not everything in the world of Pokemon, it can do some tremendous things when used properly. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Typhlosion
Getting starter Pokemon to their end of the evolution cycle is something that can take an incredible amount of time, but the juice is worth the squeeze. Once it finishes evolving, it is a Pokemon that can tear things down, especially against Pokemon that aren’t fond of fire. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Claydol
Introduced in the third generation of Pokemon games, this little guy has found himself in the lineup of trainers around the world, and it can come in handy and do some solid work. Once this Pokemon evolves from a Baltoy at level 36, everything begins to fall into place. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Torchic
All Pokemon need to start somewhere, and this little guy is the first in what ends up becoming an impressive chain of characters. People that have chosen it as their starter have gone through the entire cycle with him. While not one of the best, it certainly isn’t on the opposite end either. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Togepi
There is no denying that this is one of the cutest Pokemon to ever enter the series, and for this reason, one prominent trainer in particular has carried it at their side for a substantial amount of time. It might not make a substantial difference in battles, it can help fill a Pokedex. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Tentacruel
Just the name of this Pokemon alone should send shivers up people’s spine, because it is nothing to be trifled with. While it should be easy to avoid one of these in the wild, should some trainer whip it out in battle, it is going to be a rough day for their opponent. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Tauros
Tauros is one of the more famous Pokemon that came along in the first generation, and while they can only be found in one portion of the first set of games, people have been more than willing to make the trek to get their hands on one. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Staryu
Staryu looks like something swimming in our own seas, only exponentially cooler. This Pokemon can be seen pulling some pretty neat moves, and what is even more impressive is that once it hits its next evolution, it gets even stronger and better. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Flareon
Fans of the flame rejoice, because this evolution of Eevee is the one! Flareon is the fire-type that Eevee can evolve into, and it can do some great things. One of the cool things about Eevee is that it can be found in a number of places, meaning that people can eventually get every single evolution. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Snorlax
This gigantic Pokemon is known for taking some of the deepest naps in the world. People that don’t have a flute are going to find it hard to get from one place to another. Should someone get one in their lineup, they are going to learn that this sleeping giant is capable of greatness. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Sharpedo
With one of the coolest names, this Pokemon was one that people couldn’t wait to unleash on their opponents. After all, a name like this means that it is going to be able to make some noise. Those that have trained this Pokemon know exactly what it can do, so long as the trainer works hard. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Seel
This first generation Pokemon does not do a whole lot, in terms of taking other Pokemon out, so anyone expecting it to do well in combat will be in for a surprise. However, anyone looking to make a dent in their Pokedex will need to get one of these. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Seadra
While many Pokemon are cute and cuddly looking, this one has a tough look on its face, showing the world that it is ready for all challenges. There is no denying what it is able to do when used by the right trainer. Some trainers have achieved great things with this Pokemon. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Rhydon
Based on its exterior alone, many people would make the assumption that this character goes through a significant evolution change, and they would be right. Even when it begins its journey, this Pokemon is capable of some solid things, but once it evolves, it takes a massive step forward. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Rapidash
In the Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch, this fiery Pokemon is one that people can ride, and it is honestly one of the coolest things that we have seen in a video game. Sure, it doesn’t quite make sense, but video games are all about suspending our sense of reality. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Raichu
Let’s be real, most people only catch a Pikachu because it is the most popular Pokemon to emerge from the series. Pikachu does eventually evolve into a Raichu, but most trainers have little interest in this Pokemon, which is surprising because it can cause some serious problems for opposing trainers, especially those using water-type Pokemon. Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Quagsire
This dual-type Pokemon is rather innocent looking when compared to some of the others, but that does not mean that he can’t come through in the clutch. He is able to cause some problems for a number of opponents, and that's why many people will at least try it out. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Porygon
Porygon is one example of a Pokemon that can capture the attention of any trainer in the world, and the first time someone sees one of these Pokemon, they know that they have to get one. The designers behind Porygon truly struck gold when he was conceived, and people have been loving it ever since. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Pinsir
There has never been a trainer to look at this Pokemon and perceive it as weak, and if there is anyone that does, they are not going to be prepared for what is to come. Pinsir was among the first generation of Pokemon, and it has been doing its thing ever since. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Onix
Encountering one of these Pokemon in the wild is something that can grow tiresome. Not only are they difficult to catch in general, but taking one on with the idea of beating it is going to be far more difficult than people imagine, especially early on. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Mr. Mime
This is quite a popular Pokemon and has a unique physical appearance. It has been around for a substantial amount of time, and while it does not have a lot to say, it is a Pokemon that can get its point across with its set of moves. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Mew
During the first generation of Pokemon games, people spent an incredible amount of time trying to get their hands on this Pokemon here. Of course, the infamous Abra glitch was a popular choice for many people, and this is because of its ease. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Metagross
There is something legendary about this Pokemon here, which means that most trainers just have to have it. When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, it is a dual-type Pokemon that does have some solid stats. It does take part in an evolutionary chain. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Meganium
Introduced in the second generation of games and finishing off the evolutionary chain of one of the starter Pokemon, this guy functions as the Venusaur of the second generation. As people have seen, it does take some time to fully unlock its potential, but once it is unleashed, it is impossible to ignore. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Mantine
Trainers that possess a Remoraid and a Mantyke in their party are in luck, because they are going to be able to bring this Pokemon into the fold. Mantine is a Pokemon that looks just like a stingray. A good trainer can get the most out of this Pokemon. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Magneton
This electric-type Pokemon is one that trainers need to watch out for if their lineup is made of many water-type Pokemon. It does go through an evolutionary process, but this does not mean that it cannot do some exceptional things in its own right early on. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Magmar
There is no denying what type of Pokemon this one is, and this is because its physical appearance says anything and everything that a trainer will ever need to know. They may not be the easiest Pokemon in the world to catch, but all the trouble will eventually be worth it. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Lugia
This legendary Pokemon was the cover character for the Pokemon Silver game. Anyone playing immediately began working hard to get their hands on one. It was quite the time to be alive, and while it was nice getting to see all the new characters in general, this was the one that we all wanted. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Lickitung
Coming up with names for Pokemon characters must be an incredibly difficult task, because as we've seen throughout the series, some characters get shafted with some odd names. This guy was introduced early on, and when compared to some of the other Pokemon from its generation, it's easily the one with the weirdest name. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Kingler
Kingler has been around since the very beginning, and people that have played the original games know that it takes quite a bit of time before they can get their hands on one. Sure, people might not be in a rush to get one, but they do make for an interesting catch. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Kabuto
Unlike other Pokemon in the game that can be caught in the wild or evolved from another character, this Pokemon is one that comes from a fossil, meaning that players who skip this portion of the game may never get an opportunity to get their hands on one. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Jolteon
Jolteon is the electric-type evolution of Eevee. We got the chance to see some other Eevee evolutions come into the fold in later generations of the series, and while they have been great in their own right, it is the original three that many people prefer to utilize while playing the game. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Hypno
Taking on one of these Pokemon means that someone is going to learn a hard lesson about strategy, because going in and trying to overpower this Pokemon with little tact will yield mixed results. Of course, taking away health is the way to win, but this Pokemon can put a huge dent on any plans. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Hitmonchan
All trainers that play the first generation of games must make a tough choice when it comes to this Pokemon. It's during a certain point in the game when this Pokemon is up for grabs, but the caveat to taking him is leaving another Pokemon on the board for someone else to get their mitts on. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Haunter
As one of the most famous and coolest looking Pokemon to emerge from the series, Haunter is a character that most everyone has tried to use at least once. Dealing with this character in a tower can be a frustrating experience, but those who learn from the experience are the ones that can do impressive things. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Gengar
Gengar has a cool name and a good appearance, which makes him the perfect choice to add to any collection. This Pokemon is capable of great things, but trying to catch one comes down to the type of Pokemon people prefer to use. If it doesn’t fit, then trainers will stay away. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Espeon
Here we have a newer evolution for Eevee. Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon are all evolutions that came during the first generation of characters, but as the series expanded, the creators decided to tack on some new evolutions for Eevee. Not only can it serve a solid purpose, but it also looks cool. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Electabuzz
As the middle link, this Pokemon is one that seemed to be able to stand on its own early on, but it was eventually revealed to be a Pokemon that evolves from something and into something, so long as the conditions are right. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Diglett
Heading through a cave in a Pokemon game means that a trainer might have to deal with a number of Pokemon that can cause some trouble. This ground-type Pokemon is one that many people have dealt with in the caves of the game, and while he is small, he can prove to be troublesome. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Deoxys
Rare is it to see a Pokemon that is completely different from the rest of the characters in the game, but this just happens to be the case for Deoxys. There is a mythical quality to this Pokemon, and because of how uncommon this is, many trainers have to try their hand at getting one. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Caterpie
Early on in the first generation of Pokemon games, this Pokemon is one that is going to be encountered many times. This Pokemon provides a ton of opportunities to young trainers. Once caught, this Pokemon goes through an evolutionary process that ends with the popular Pokemon Butterfree. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Cacturne
Getting a Cacnea to level 32 will be the way to take the scenic route in getting this Pokemon in the Pokedex, and while this does seem like a daunting task for trainers with little patience, it does come in handy down the line. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Bellsprout
This Pokemon tends to be one that people only catch to fill their Pokedex. They aren’t completely useless, but they do need to go through their evolutions to truly be useful against opponents. They've been around for a long time, which is one reason many people to try their hand at training one. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Ariados
Once Spinara reaches level 22, it can reach its full potential as this Pokemon here. Experienced trainers know that there are other Pokemon that are going to be better in terms of setting and establishing a lineup, but that doesn't mean that a younger trainer should avoid taking a flyer on this guy here. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Altaria
This third generation Pokemon is one that evolves from a Swablu at level 35, and once it becomes a full-on Altaria, it can eventually become a mega version of itself. As a dual-type Pokemon, Altaria can be a fixture in any trainer’s arsenal. (Bulbapedia)
Pick or Pass Abra
People that have used the Abra hack on the first generation Pokemon games know that this character is the golden ticket to getting a Mew early on in the game. For those that play the game normally, this Pokemon eventually gives way to an Alakazam. (Bulbapedia)
