Pick Or Pass On These Classic Cars To Reveal The Perfect Woman!

How many people here have their own idea of just what the perfect woman is like? That is a rhetorical question. We know that everyone here has an opinion on just what the perfect woman is like. Whether the prospective quiz-taker here is man or woman, they still know what they think the perfect woman is. It could even be themselves. Who knows?

Regardless, we have gone through some rather famous and fantastic women out there and have chosen several different ones who we have deemed perfect...or at least as close to perfect as we can get given that they are still human and famous. Either way, we are pretty sure anyone would be happy to have a go with any of these women.

So, here's the game. All that anyone has to do here in order to get the perfect woman is pick or pass on all of the classic cars that we have here. Of course, depending on which cars people pick or pass on, there could be a different perfect woman for each quiz-taker. We won't say just how many perfect women we have chosen, but pick and pass well with these classic cars to get the best results possible.

Pick or Pass on the Jaguar E-Type S1

It might not seem all that exciting that this car only has about 265 horsepower, according to Car Folio, but it is still a 1964 Jaguar E-Type S1 and that has got to stand for something. On Hemmings, this car and other production year variants of the E-Type are up for sale starting from a minimum of $70,000. The most expensive among them (that are listed, at least) is well over $200,000. As far as classics go, this is actually not that bad a price.

Just look at this car. Sure, it might be a Ford and there may be people here who really do not like the Ford Motor Company but the Edsel Pacer is one pretty classic car. The interesting thing about the Edsel is that it only lasted as a marque for two years with Ford. We are lucky to have the Pacer. That being said though, according to Hemmings, it is not worth a whole lot of money at all. This can be owned for as little as $5,000.

According to How Stuff Works, when this car first hit the market, the top shelf model was worth less than $3,000! How amazing would it be to be able to get a classy car like this, brand new, for only $2,500? That would be wonderful. That being said...it only does have 102 horsepower. That and now it is at least about $10,000 to get one of these and if someone wants mint condition, we're looking at about $70,000 to get a hold of.

Pick or Pass on the 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII

Austin-Healey cars are all classics now, no matter which model or which year. Why is this? Well, in 1952, according to Auto Blog, there was a deal between both heads of two respective companies that became Austin-Healey. They made a 20-year agreement and, in 1972, they continued on through Jag and Jensen, leaving the Austin-Healey name behind. That being said, this makes the 64 3000 MKIII a pricey car that starts at $50,000 and can range up to nearly $100,000 (Hemmings).

Alright, when a classic car, covered in rust and in need of a full restore comes out to be on the Hemmings listing at $44,500...one has got to be reasonably sure that it is a pretty wicked car. And make no mistake, the 1953 Jaguar XK-120 is a sweet machine. All one has to do is just look at it and appreciation just happens. Of course, if someone wants a mint condition one of these it'll cost them around $140,000.

Now, how people here even know what a Citroen is? For those who have no idea about this brand, this is a car company from France. We know that there are some here who think very little of France, but that does not mean that the 1955 Citroen DS is not a classic car. In truth, it is a very weak classic car but it was from 1955. With only the power of 74 horses under the hood, according to Automobile Catalog, the DS would hit a top speed of 90 mph.

BMW is a fairly well-known car company. Hailing from Germany, there is a lot to like about the BMW brand. Just look at this beautiful 1959 BMW 507 Roadster. This is nothing to scoff at by any stretch of the imagination. Especially when it comes to the price. Never mind what is underneath the hood because no one here would be able to afford this thing. It was listed at Scottsdale, according to the BMW Blog, for a whopping $1.8 million.

Buick is not typically known for any sort of high-powered car out there, by any stretch of the imagination. They are typically synonymous with luxury and comfort but this Buick Skylark from 1954 has a mix of both, for sure. The Merc 300sl only had about 70 horsepower. Which is pretty much a lawnmower. Whereas, the Skylark, fancy as it is to look at, had 200 horsepower and could top out at 105.6 mph. Not bad for 1954. According to Concept Carz, there were only 836 convertible 54 Skylarks made.

Well, no one even questions this company when it comes to luxury automobiles. The Rolls-Royce brand has been pushing out quality luxury cars for 113 years now! According to Rolls-Royce themselves. That is a lot of time to perfect the luxury automobile. And the Phantom is pretty amazing. But, even only halfway through their lifespan, RR put out the Silver Dawn Drophead and this is a car that is so luxurious that RM Sotheby's was able to sell it at auction for $450,000.

Mercedes Benz has been a great car from Germany for decades and decades and is still looked upon as one of the greats in terms of luxury. Now, with the 1954 Merc 300sl, it is very interesting to compare to the 55 Citroen DS. Why? Well, the Citroen had 74 horsepower. The Merc had 70.8. But what do we think the top speed of either was? The Citroen could do 90 mph and the Merc could do 130 mph, according to Top Speed.

Cadillac has long been the standard in luxury cars. Or at least that is what they want everyone to think. Bentley also does a pretty solid job at being luxurious, as well as Rolls-Royce but Cadillac is a pretty standard and relatively more affordable luxury car company. That being said, the 59 Cadillac Eldorado is not really an affordable car. At least not the Biarritz Convertible model. It sold at Scottsdale, according to Barrett-Jackson, for $176,000. Not typically an affordable car for the everyman.

The Chevy Bel Air is one of the great classics in the car community. At least when it comes to cars in the U.S. There is just something about the Bel Air that really strikes a chord of Americana in some way shape or form. The 1955 was a particular highlight in the auto world. Not for any particular and significant achievement but simply because of how gorgeous the car was. A junker can be found, on Classic Cars for under $10,000, but a good condition one will be from $23,000 to $123,000.

The Hudson Hornet was a short-lived car that ran from 1951 to 1957. While it looks like a real classic (and it is) it can be purchased from Hemmings for almost nothing. Of course, there are varying degrees of quality when it comes to purchasing one of these classics. The price on this classic car ranges from $6,500 to nearly $100,000. That just shows how variable each production year of this car truly is, as well as the quality of each sale on Hemmings.

The Corvette brand started out in 1953 but they seemed to really hit a peak in the late 50s through to the late 60s.

And if we consult Classic Cars, we find that pretty well no unit will sell for cheaper than $30,000.

How often does anyone here get a chance to say "Hey, that's a pretty good-looking Volvo"? We doubt that it is very often. The past few decades have not been particularly good to Volvo when it comes to their designs. They may last forever, but they're far from pretty. The 67 P1800 S, however, is a very pretty car and while there might be several P1800 models for sale at the $10,000 price range, a P1800 S is going to go for nearly $50,000 at least, every time (Classic Driver).

How often does someone hear "classic car" and "Toyota" used in the same sentence unless it's something like "I would much rather a classic car over a Toyota"? Well, let us introduce the 1967 Toyota 2000GT. Who even knew that Toyota was around for that long? And who knew they made good-looking cars? In 2013, according to Auto Blog, the 2000GT broke the record for the highest auction price for an Asian car at a whopping $1.16 million. There were only 350 of these cars ever made!

The Lincoln Continental has long been the high-end town car for the Ford Motor Company to make up for their low-end cars like the Focus, Ranger, Fiesta and others. According to Auto Trader, though, it doesn't matter whether it's from the 50s or the 80s or anywhere in between, the cost of a Continental is pretty well still the same. Usually around $50,000.

Sure, it's probably going to need some work but...still.

Here it is. Every hippie's dream vehicle. There is something about the VW Minibus that just brings back memories of Woodstock and the free love movement and all of that fun from the 60s. There is something about picturing this van with all sorts of trippy paint on the outside and a shag carpet on the inside that seems to really excite people for one reason or another. And considering that Classic Cars is selling them for between $15,000 and $30,000...that's a fairly affordable dream.

Considering just how classy this truly classic car looks, it is amazing that Hemmings has it listed for only about an average of $50,000. That is pretty nutty. Just look at that thing. So many people will want photos (and maybe a ride) with this machine. The 1951 JagMK V, according to Automobile Catalog, had a whopping 120 horsepower...in 1951. Not bad at all. Although its top speed was only about 95 mph. But who needs to race in one of these?

Packard was one of the very first companies to ever put a car on the road. They started back in 1899, just before cars first hit the market for consumption. Eventually, the Packard company was taken over by Studebaker in the 50s. That being said, in 1937, Packard was at its peak. And we know that for sure because, according to Classic Cars, the 1937 Packard is listed for sale at a remarkable $169,000. And that is not even at auction!

Pick or Pass on the 1935 Duesenberg SJ LA Phaeton

The Duesenberg company has been a car company since 1913 and while many people would likely jump to conclusions, thinking that this is a company from Germany, the reality is that this was a U.S. company that went out of its way to build race engines and race cars. Now, the SJ LA Phaeton may not look like a racer, but it has the power of 320 horses (which is better than some cars today) and it could hit 150 mph. According to RM Sotheby's, it sold for $852,500.

With a quick look at Hemmings, it is clear to see that the Chrysler Airflow is still a fairly prominent car in the classic car community. Why? Because of only three units being sold on Hemmings, the price ranges from over $40,000 to nearly $120,000. People love this car. And look at it! It is a beautiful machine, to say the least. And while it may not pack the same power as a Chrysler 300, we are pretty sure which of the two most people would want to buy.

The Pierce Silver Arrow is a very special car. According to Barrett-Jackson, the Silver Arrow sold at Scottsdale for an incredible $2,200,000. That is more expensive than a Koenigsegg Agera! Either way, the Silver Arrow could top out at 115 mph in 1933 and had a price tag, then, of $10,000. A pricey car for that era. That being said, it was fast and there were only ever five of these cars made in the world. No wonder it sold for so much at auction.

Upwards of $40,000 is what someone will be paying for a car like this. The 1932 Ford Roadster may not be the meanest or the fastest of all Ford cars (or any cars) but it still rode with the power of 180 horses back in 1932 and also housed a V8 HEMI. Not bad at all, we'd say. That's according to The Henry Ford. As far as classic cars go, this is a step up from the Model T, but not quite a Shelby.
