Only A 90s Girl Can Match The Screenshot To The Correct Show

The 1990s was a decade filled with boy bands, butterfly hair clips, and Tamagotchis. However, what filled a girl's time the most was the TV shows they watched for hours on the big boxy television sets. There was a number of different styles of shows that became wildly popular, even in the 2000s, but comedy and drama definitely surpassed everything. The 90s introduced some of the most popular sitcom (some of which are still watched today!). This includes Friends, Seinfeld, and even Boy Meets World.

In terms of the teenage television shows, they primarily all portrayed similar plot themes. The main characters were high school students and faced their own problems or issues such as relationships, school work, friendships, and home life. Their friends were usually the ones they leaned on to get through hard times, and they probably had a teacher they could turn to for guidance. There are some exceptions to these teen shows where there are fantasy/sci-fi elements, but this is mostly seen in the early 2000s Disney Channel shows.
