There's probably no better medical drama out there than Grey's Anatomy. Season one of this amazing TV series was released more than ten years ago, all the way back in 2005. And yet it's still going strong. That makes perfect sense: the plot line of this show is intriguing, the characters realistic and the dialogue both witty and thought-provoking.

As most people are probably well aware, Grey's Anatomy focuses on the professional and personal lives of surgical interns, attending physicians, residents, nurses, and patients. The plot of this show centers on a woman who starts off as an intern at Seattle Grace Hospital. Slowly but surely she rises through the ranks. At the moment she is the Head of General Surgery and the winner of the prestigious (but fictional) Harper Avery Award.

Over the years Grey's Anatomy has been nominated for nine Golden Globe Awards (it won two) and as many as 40 Primetime Emmy Awards (it won four), many of them in the category of outstanding actor or actress. We can't say that we're surprised. After all, the actors cast in this TV series are pretty phenomenal and convey the emotions of their characters superbly, thus making the characters that they play unforgettable. But here's the thing - only true Grey's Anatomy fans stand a chance in acing this quiz!

This one is easy. This character is the show's protagonist hence why everyone should pass this question with flying colors. We first met this character is episode one of season one of the series. At the time she was an intern at Seattle Grace Hospital. She is an ambitious and skilled doctor and has won the prestigious Harper Avery Award. As such it comes as no surprise that over the years she was promoted to Head of General Surgery. She has built a successful professional life but her private life is somewhat less rosy. Let's be honest - when we first met this character we didn't really like him. He was mean and arrogant. We did not think that he could change, but he surprised us all. However, things didn't really work out that well for them - she got sick and even though they got through it she blamed him for sabotaging her professional life. Naturally, he was hurt and asked her to leave, which she did. He got his happy ending though - he is currently married to another surgeon.

We were first introduced to this character in season 11 of the show. He is originally from Italy but moved to the U.S. with his mother when he was still a kid. After he completed high school he worked as an EMT and loved it so much that he decided to attend medical school. He is confident and easygoing. Indeed, he recently started going out with the show's protagonist and we all know that she is a very choosy woman!
